Written by Andrea Shearon on behalf of GLHF.From 2015 until last year, 2019, I had not been to Olympus again. You’re Not Alone – Level 90 Main Scenario Quest Try marking your map with your own flags in this area, just to make sure you don’t go speeding by too many similar hills while trailing the next Aether Current.Ī Most Stimulating Discussion – (X:23.5, Y:12.3) The sky is, without a doubt, Endwalker’s most brilliant, but the ground is all the same shade of brown or blue. While beautiful, Ultima Thule can often feel a bit disorienting. The Perks of Being a Lost Flower – (X:11.7, Y:19.5)Ĭaging the Messenger – Level 87 Main Scenario Quest The area sports several islands scattered about, but thankfully your targets are relatively easy to spy just from riding around on your ground mount. Heart of the Matter – Level 84 Main Scenario QuestĪttuning to everything in Elpis is a bit like a less annoying version of hunting Aether Currents in Heavensward’s Sea of Clouds. You’ll need to zoom into the map closer and look for any small landbridges connecting canyons together, as Mare Lamentorum’s big gaps can’t be crossed with ground travel only.Ĭarrots: It’s What’s for Dinner – (X:15.7, Y:11.0) Locations outside on the surface are often not as close as you think they are. Gateway of the Gods – Level 83 Main Scenario QuestĮndwalker’s Moon is perhaps the most frustrating new zone for hunting Aether Currents. Locations here are more straightforward, but look out for trickier Aether Currents along the train tracks.Ĭhildren Are Our Future – (X:31.3, Y:13.0) The war-torn city of Garlemald is one of the first zones you can complete, becoming fully available at level 83 during the Main Scenario.

Simple Pleasures – Level 85 Main Scenario Quest Unfortunately, that’s the same spot gated by the Main Scenario Quest, so wait a little while before trying to find your way down. Some of its Aether Compass directions can be a little confusing, as the device will try to lead you down into a swampy area early on. Let the Good Times Troll – (X:21.1, Y:21.4)īonds of Adamant(ite) – Level 88 Main Scenario QuestĮndwalker’s trading post is another early location you’ll visit but remains unavailable for flight until level 85. Aether Currents here aren’t hard to find but zoom in carefully when moving between teleports, as some of the locations require you to use an elevator until you’re able to fly. You’ll enter Labyrinthos early on during FF14 Endwalker’s Main Scenario questline, but it’ll be one of the last areas you can unlock flying in with its level 88 quest requirement. Just take a look at our guide below for all FFXIV Endwalker Aether Current locations. It’s now available from the Collection menu, which you can find under Duty in your system navigation. And just in case you missed it-yes, Square Enix did move your Aether Compass location. The big blue markers denote quest locations on your map, and you can use your Aether Compass to find those hidden points for attuning.

Labyrinthos, Thavnair, Garlemald, Mare Lamentorum, Elpis, and Ultima Thule all require you to find and attune to ten Aether Currents and complete five quests. These Aether Currents will help complete your Sightseeing Log, as will our Sightseeing Log locations guide. To unlock flying in every zone, you’ll need to complete your collection of Aether Currents by progressing the Main Scenario, accepting tasks from NPCs, and finding stray currents scattered throughout the map. Once again, Final Fantasy XIV will have you take to the skies with its new Endwalker expansion.
